Condition of Affairs at Richmond.

The extracts from Richmond papers in our dispatches of Saturday morning and this morning have the most important significance. These indicate that the rebel cause has not gained anything by the recent battles. They acknowledge that McClellan occupies a much stronger as well as a more healthy position now than he did on the Chickahominy, and one from which it will be impossible to dislodge him.

Jeff. Davis has issued a bragging order to the Confederate army, claiming that, although they had been greatly outnumbered, they had gained a glorious victory.
